I waited to start this blog for the release of WordPress 2.5 Release Candidate 1. The admin interface is a lot cleaner.
The only change I really dislike comes on the Write screen (follow the above link for screenshots). To categorize and tag the post, you have to go below the fold, that is, page down. I’m used to being able to write short posts without having to do that.

I set up this blog in order to kick around a few ideas. I made myself what I think is a lovely custom header image, suitable for use with the PressRow theme. But the most recent downloadable version of PressRow doesn’t know about WordPress sidebar widgets, which I need. It doesn’t know about tags, either…
